You
may have seen the new Bearwood Bear at the most recent Bearwood Shuffle.
He helped raise over £35 on the day by being raffled off
with all of the money collected being donated to the Bearwood Promoters Team
for future free live music Bearwood Shuffle events.
Hannah Wood, the very clever crocheter behind Chubby Pink Piggy Creations has made more bears which carry our welovebearwood logo and they are for sale
exclusively at Webb’s Walled Gift Shop on Three Shires Oak Road. The
small bears cost £12 and the large bears cost £18.
Some
of the Bearwood based charities which the Bearwood Bear hopes to raise money
for in the future
include Smethwick in a Stew, Birmingham and
Black Country Wildlife Trust, Warley Woods Community Trust, Bearwood Boys
Brigade, Friends of Thimblemill Brook and Friends of Lightwoods Park and House.

Hannah's
currently taking commissions for other very cute and cuddly soft toys. She’s
created all sorts from dragons to giraffes to dogs to zebras but we love the one she created for us
recently.
